Some of the media that I'm trying to play through my Jellyfin Media Player (running Jellyfin server 10.9.3 on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS) plays just fine, while other media suddenly stopped working after months of continuous untroubled use. The server is grabbing media from two different 4TB external SSDs, and it appears as though one of the drives just isn't communicating properly with Jellyfin. I've checked the media on the drive, and can mount and play any of the media on it directly, but for some reason Jellyfin just can't seem to figure it out right now for some reason. The error message I get when I attempt to play is as follows:
Playback failed with error "loading failed". Retry with transcode? (Note this may hang the player.)
followed by:
This client isn't compatible with the media and the server isn't sending a compatible media format.
I've read through a number of forum topics on this subject, but wasn't able to find my solution in any of them, so I thought I'd give it a go on here.
