Player stucks on Update Notification

Starting Jellyfin Media Player it shows "Update available / Version 1.10.1 is available". But the buttons are unresponsive, neither Ignore nor Download do anything. Reloaded often with no effect, restarted Player, restarted Windows. Of course I could install the new version manually, but is there a better solution?
