But there seem to be a bug or missing support for .WAV, in Jellyfin web and app i can choose artist and search, and find artists, but in Finamp it cant handle the artists, but a bigger issue is lack of meta data for the music.. Jellyfin only seems to be getting automatically meta for very few albums.. Im just wondering, if this is due to missing codec support or a bug in how Jellyfin thrat .WAV file format.

Picard (or I guess MusicBrainz Picard?) is something that can help group/organize and fetch + write metadata for music. One thing about Jellyfin is that if you feed in garbage, it's gonna serve you garbage. The lack of metadata is because you haven't provided any and without any context, Jellyfin isn't going to fetch something. You've handed it a file without any indication of what the file contains and it's serving that file in the exact same manner.
I follow this guide: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/music/
I found out that what has meta is .MP3 and what dosent is .WAV
