Thank you for this guide. One thing that might be helpful to note is that Jellyfin supports the case where you have multiple transcoded versions.
For example, you may have a rip in 4k but frequently watch it on a phone at 720p. With the raw 4k, your server will transcode it behind the scenes every time you watch it on your phone. If you use handbrake to transcode it to a lower resolution, you can store that on your server and select the 720p version when you are watching on your phone.
