SOLVED: MacOS and VMware troubles

Jellyfin unable to see external drive files in MacOS, VMware doesn't stay active when computer is locked

I figured it out.

In the settings app of my Mac, I had turn on removable drive access for Jellyfin specifically.

Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Files and Folders -> Jellyfin -> Toggle on "Removable Volumes"

Everything works as expected now.
