Thank you both for your replies and apologies for my late one.

The HP t530 thin client has been crashing a lot recently and I have decided to stick with the Z240 and have limited the CPU to about 70% to keep power and heat down when Jellyfin is generating trickplay files.

Moreover, smb access is faster on the Z240 so all is good.
