That's actually how it used to be until about 10 minutes before I posted this thread. I was wondering if the volume mount was affecting it.
I'm going to build a new container from scratch and point the mappings, except media, to a new set of folders. I'll see if that changes anything, I'm not bothered if I have to reconfigure anything as Trakt manages my watched times and that's the only thing I care about
