Apparently his TV's browser doesn't have an option to go full-screen. In the past we used an app called Serviio, which is a DLNA server, but also has online access. When accessing that from his TV's browser, the video itself had an icon to go full-screen, just like a YouTube video.
I asked him to check his TV's app store for Jellyfin before I even gave him the url, but he doesn't have that option. He did tell me Plex is available, but I don't think that helps.
