I misunderstood. But what you're asking for is not easily done. The only way I can think of is to use tags, since you can restrict access with tags per-user.

So you'd tag a show with "user1, user2, user3" and then tag another show "user1, user3, user4", etc.

I can't think of another way to do what you're asking.
