    Episodes disappear in UI

    Episode will vanish and re-appear after reboot

    SynoCommunity install running v10.8.10

    Have been watching Heroes lately, and twice during Season 4 we watched an episode, then went to play next episode only to find it skipped one.  Exit Jellyfin on the player and go back in, episode suddenly appears.  I checked the log and obviously there's nothing to report there, we played episode 17, tried to play what we thought was 18 but was actually 19.  Closed Jellyfin when the "previously on" didn't make any sense, re-launched the app, and episode 18 was now visible for us in the UI.

    This has been happening with a lot of kids shows as well like Spongebob and Phineas & Ferb.  Would love if we could continue to the next episode without second guessing if we've missed something.

    I'm not entirely sure what's going on here. I haven't heard of anything like this before. If you'd like, you're also welcome to swing by the Matrix server or the Discord bridge with your logs and such and someone can try to help you in real time. I don't see anything suspect in your log snippet as provided. I suspect that whatever is going on here is outside of Jellyfin's domain.

    I do want to just note that one of the reasons you're not having luck with support here is that you're seeking help for an unofficial platform in the official support channels. So most of us simply aren't familiar with your configuration, and we don't generally support it. SynoCommunity, as the name suggests, is built and maintained by the Synology Community. If they've introduced issues or configurations that are causing problems, we simply don't know about them, or why they exist. The SynoCommunity folks might be better channels of support.

    You're welcome to ask here, and people will try to be helpful, as well as asking on the support chat channels. Just understand that help with unofficial platforms may be less common and slower.

    I do see responses to some of your other threads, though, and will reply there.
