I believe this is due to the github ticket I linked. "Fre" is the ISO 639-2 "B" code for French, which Jellyfin does not use. We use the 639-2 "T" code, fra, or the 639-1 code, fr. You set the file name to "fra", correct? I'm assuming "Fre" is in the subtitle file itself or in the subtitle metadata.
I did change the subtitles files from *.fr.srt to *.fra.srt.
But the issue is still here. And it's not only with the subtitles but with the audio track names too. As shown on the attached image in my previous post, the audio track list Fre as language
