Total power usage is somewhere between 1700 and 1900 watts depending on what I'm doing. Yes, it's excessive
. I don't have any solar for this (I do run some outside lights with solar though!) but I live in Ontario, Canada which is 50-60% nuclear baseload with a lot of hydro and wind so, even if it's not the cheapest power I feel good that at least I'm not trashing the environment with coal and such.
