This has sat for a few days, and I brought it to the server team's attention to see if anyone could think of anything simple that we're missing. I'm assuming by the lack of additional replies that nobody else has any idea either.
Let's chalk this up as a bug and have you convert all of this information to an issue for the github. You can add it here: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues
