Episode added to Jellyfin is immediately marked "watched".

I've been having a strange problem for the last week or so (same time-frame as the missing music Playlists), which is that often when a TV episode is added to the Jellyfin it immediately get marked "played".  This does not happen for movies and I can't find a pattern of what triggers it.

I've made sure I don't have another instance of Jellyfin running somewhere - I don't. I also don't have any other users.
