I don't have a system with raid support so i went with the Samsung SSD 8Tb for my media storage
a bit pricey i know, but i have had bad luck with HDD's in the past and no raid support so no backups.
My hope is that this drive will last 10-15 years and from what i have read is that even when an SSD drive fails they still work in read only mode, so i could always copy to a new drive in the far future.
