Jellyfin Media Player encoding while direct playing?

Hi, it is not HDR content.
I checked on the Server Dashboard and it said it is Direct Playing.
I tested different content, mostly MKV container with hvec video and aac audio.
When i direct stream to my android tablet and use the jellyfin app my PC doesnt show any gpu usage, so im sure it has nothing to do with the server.
I now also noticed now that other players like VLC also use my GPU for decoding.
So im starting to think that its just MPV not using my GPU, but its completely normal behaviour that there is some decoding going on?
Im sorry if i wasted your time, im a complete noob in this topic.
Though im still wondering why casting to MPV Shim is so much snappier than the integrated player in JMP.
