I came here I think with the same issue hoping someone else had mentioned something. I'm using TMDb Box Sets and recently upgraded from JF8 to JF10. After that upgrade I noticed that most of the movies in the collection folder had lost the movies, or rather the movies weren't being linked into the collection correctly. E.g. Batman collection is there, but when you click into the collection, there aren't any movies. The movies aren't 'deleted', just not linked into the collection.
What I have tried:
- Checked I have the updated version of plugin.
- Uninstalled (from UI), restarted from UI.
- Refreshed/Scan of libraries.
After this point, It looked like some of the collections were being found and populated. But it was missing poster and image prettyness.
- I checked the activity feed on the dashboard and noticed an entry saying that TMDb had been installed 1-2 min after uninstall.
- Went and checked the plugin section and there was a flag on the addon saying it was pending restart again.
- Restarted from UI.
From here collections are populating again, but still 80% don't have files within the collection.

In this image you can see Death note hasn't pulled images for the poster, and Hungergames and Inside out are 'ticked'. If you were to click into that you would see an empty collection.
Might not be related to OP, sorry if just hijacking a post
