You're looking for a media organization suite. Many exist. TinyMediaManager, Sonarr, Radarr, etc... They interface with official DBs, alert you to unexpected issues prior to scraping of data, allow you to format where metadata goes and in what formats (to an extent), and are highly customizable. There are lots of options. I would recommend investigating those tools.
