I recall (I think you) mentioning the A380/A310... been checking on occasion but no luck here in Ontario (CAN).
so, basically on paper the 1660 is better but end-user would never notice a difference. Probably give her the better card then.
Checking now and ya, closest ARC for sale is a 380, for $170CAD... 2-3h away.
The 1660-S is about $50CAD and 15min away.
If the ARC were closer, I'd give my sister my GTX1060, put that $50 towards the ARC instead but the hours of driving kinda kill that option.
