It could be port publishing (Automatic port mapping in Jellyfin aka uPnP). Most routers timeout uPnP after a set amount of time, but that is usually like 60 minutes which is why I didn't suspect that initially.
My kids were able to watch a movie one day, the next day the movie just buffered constantly. Tested on my phone now, and it didn't load the video at all. Used the "back" button, tried to watch again, and the overview listed two devices streaming at first. The host device still lists my phone as actively watching, despite listing it being disconnected in "activities". Before I refreshed the device, it had two listings of the phone being connected, and only one listing of my phone disconnecting. I'm suspecting that the first connection is the one listed under "active devices". Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ZfJL3mQ.png
I am suspecting that I need to buy a new router, I can't imagine that it's my PC, it might be the TV and my phone is pretty old (and it's a Huawei). Have you ever seen the TV's or phones (streaming devices) being the main issue?
