thanks this post helped me figure out the TVOS app settings, shame it is under the heading experimental.

Force Direct Play – On
Native Player – On
Use fmp4 with HLS – off

I'm using
Swiftfin 1.0.1 (70)
Jellyfin 10.10.6
tvOS 18.3
