What’s the best way to listen to audio books using Jellyfin on iPhone?

I have this same problem. On the iPhone app and using a browser on my phone the audio stops as soon as the app goes into the background or I lock the phone? Is there a way to fix this or just hope a future update addresses it? I have my audiobooks in a books library.
