I discovered and installed Jellyfin yesterday, replacing Plex. The installation appeared to go fine until I attempted to connect from each of my client devices (3 different Fire Stick devices, one Android phone). None of the devices could see the media server. While I've been using computers of various flavors since 1980, I am no longer as fast on the under the hood stuff as I once was. I was hoping for a refrigerator experience: plug it in and it works.
I'm certain some, if not most of the folks here are tired of helping us old folks, but I'd sure like to get the program to work. Can anyone help, at a fairly basic level? I'm running Windows 11 Home, with Norton 360 (or whatever it's called this month) as my fire wall, on a Google Nest Mesh network. My PC, upon which the media and server reside, is connected to the network via Ethernet, while the rest of the network is WiFi.
