This is kind of what I was thinking still. I don't really have an issue with how my movies look so far, I've got my settings pretty dialed in and they're still about 10-15gb after the fact so I think that's a reasonable size.
CRF was turned all the way to 19 which is the point where dark scenes in movies stopped being blocky and that was the main ordeal.
