Jellyfin is just a wonderful project. I love the interface on my Android TV's app, and the dolby vision support, but for trueHD passthrough, if on a PC (or rack server with HDMI), why not just allow Jellyfin to bitstream the audio out of the PC's HDMI port to the Atmos receiver as a "2nd stream" during playback?
This could be a simple checkbox in the audio settings.
Then we can just mute the TV and enjoy trueHD that isn't being stripped by our Android TV's eARC, while also enjoying the convenience of Jellyfin and not having to hack one of those nasty mini PCs into a CoreElec n' stuff.
