Here are a couple of things that I think would improve the Jellyfin integration with subtitles:
- in the global setting where subtitles % is defined, it would be good to see the result live as the % is tweak. 150% means nothing and going by attempt is click/time-consuming
- allow changing size (%), while playing the video
- allow free placement within the screen. Lots of movies have black bands top and bottom, it seems that currently JellyFin release places the subtitles over the video itself instead of taking advantage of the black bands. This makes it less readable.
- even for videos without black bands, you might want to allow users to move subtitles where's convenient for them.
