SOLVED: jellyfin does not have permission to access the drive my movies are stored on?

i did my best to follow that guide, and jellyfin still can't access the drive my movies are stored on!! :-( when i try to add the new mount point, i get the following error message: There was an error adding the media path. Please ensure the path is valid and Jellyfin has access to that location.
