Plugins from custom repositories not installing

I've been trying to install some plugins that I found from awesome-jellyfin (intro-skipper, customlogoplugin, and newsletters), but whenever i try to install them and restart the server, they simply aren't installed. No indication that they were installed either. This only happens with non-official repos. 
I'm running Ubuntu Server, if that helps.
