Which does not work? I retested both methods on a NvIdia Shield TV running Android 11. Using the second Android method (adding the "special" folder to Kodi's File Manager) has worked with every device I have tried it on. I also retested both methods on my Xaomi TV Pro A Smart TV and their TV Box S running Google TV, a generic Android 11 and 10 TV boxes from Lazada, and both methods worked without issue.
That being said, this is for adding new Fonts to Kodi. If you need help adding a different folder to Kodi's File Manager, you should ask that over on the Kodi forums.
