the first thing i did after the inital setup of the libraries is install plugins for metadata scraping and etc.
order of operations would be install, admin user setup, turn off real time monitoring and enable nfo scraping as i setup the libraries so i don't overwrite /lose any hand edited metadata (all done through previous jellyfin installs btw), then as soon as i'm able to pull up the dashboard, i install plugins so after jellyfin does it's inital media scan i would then go back through the libraries and re-enable real time monitoring and then select the applicable scrapers, this way new media gets bagged & tagged as soon as it's added and the older media doesn't require any future editing, i've had issues where some titles metadata gets displayed wrong or it chooses the wrong title, crawling through over 7K+ movies/shows to search for the handful of titles that may be tagged incorrectly is a headache i never want to face again.
