    We were just having this discussion in the documentation channel on Matrix. From what somebody else said, the performance hit is around 10% when rebar isn't enabled. You can likely get that back by ensuring your firmware is up to date. One of our mods runs an A310 and confirmed it works without rebar and they've been satisfied with performance.

    As for choosing, yes, you choose the device in the WebUI that's used for transcoding.
