Creating separate libraries for each category sounds like the best option for you
Each library will show up separately, but there's an option to group similar types together. For example, on the adult profile, you can group kids' movies and regular movies into one "Movies" section. The same goes for TV shows.
To do this:
You can't split an existing library. If you want to separate content, edit the current library and remove the kids' media folder. Then create a new library and add the kids' content there.

- Go to the homepage in the web UI.
- Click your profile in the top right.
- Select Home.
- Look for Library Folders and turn on the option to automatically group content into views like Movies or TV
