It's not possible to further compress media files, so if you want to create a conventional backup of your content, you need to store 30TB.
Therefore I would recommend RAID-4 based solutions like SnapRaid or UnRaid for media files. You can use multiple disks with different sizes for content storage and need only the size of the biggest disk to backup your media.
For example, I use SnapRaid and have 3 media disks (18TB, 12TB, 12TB). My backup (parity) disk has 18TB and all media files are backuped and regularily checked for integrity. I will lose no data if one disk crashes and can even restore erroneously deleted files until the next parity sync.
