I frequently use BubbleUPnP to stream music over my home network from a media server to Pi-based renderers. In some cases, I have multiple copies of albums for whatever reason (e.g. original and remaster, 16/44.1 and 24/96), but when I browse in 'Album artist' mode, these are all combined so that the same track plays two or three times in a row. This is handy for comparisons but not exactly the expected behavior of just listening to the album.
For me, browsing by folder would fix this. I'm sure there are a lot of other users that have also put a lot of work into organizing their files and would prefer to use their own indexing system as well.
Plex supports this over UPnP and it's one of the primary reasons I'm keeping Plex around and haven't fully transitioned to Jellyfin.
