Hi!
I just recently changed how to access my server remotely. Prior it was through caddy + duckdns (their domain) through a specific port (it seemed like my isp was blocking ports 80 and 443). I just changed the setup to Nginx proxy manager + dynu dns (with a custom domain from namecheap)and switched the custom port over. I found out that i was able to open port 80 but not 443 for some reason. I already tried reaching out to my ISP, checking my firewall, etc. and still nothing. Regardless, I was able to setup a SSL, point the proxy manager to a custom port for 443. Just to note, had to turn caddy off as docker wouldn't allow the proxy manager to use the port caddy was using for 443.
The new setup works! Sorta. I can access my Jellyfin instance from typing in my newdomain.com:port number and it works on browser with https! The issue is that my Jellyfin app won't connect to it at all (connected to WiFi or not). The Finamp connects outside of WIFI and shows my music but when I try going into an album, it shows a grey screen. Connecting to Jellyfin locally is no issue on app or browser.
I have "allow remote connections" checked in my settings for Jellyfin as well.I am not sure what is preventing my instance from being accessible from browser but not on apps. For context, I am using iOS and have tried on WiFI and while on data.
