My fix is so simple, I can't believe it took me so long in figuring it out.  Malwarebytes was running wild, my anti virus.  I seen this in the beginning, but didn't give it much thought.  However, once I read down into it, I could see how it was really hammering my resources, so I dug a little deeper and found that the jellyfin.exe file, located in the server folder, was being quarantined.  How it took me two days to realize, and why just today it was being removed?

I placed the jellyfin.exe into the safe list of applications, and WOW, the system has returned to normal.  Malwarebytes flagged the jellyfin.exe as ransomware, and removed it from the C:\Program Files\Jellyfin\ServerFiles\Jellyfin\Server file.  Not sure when this all began, really.  I can't understand why it took it this long to remove file, and locked up the Jellyfin program, as happened today? Anyhow, it did, and wished it would have happen sooner!  Now that it's back in the right folder, everything is running smooth as silk.  I have a very large library, thanks in part working in a pawnshop and getting movies, and CD, daily, so I wasn't surprised of the slow scanning time in the beginning.

May want to check to see why Malwarebytes is flagging the Jellyfin.exe as such, and check to  make sure those being effected have checked  to see if they maybe having the same problem?  Hope this helps...
