SOLVED: Proxmox, Ubuntu, Docker, Jellyfin, Intel Arc A380

High CPU usage when transcoding, no render/3d usage on GPU

Might be because I'm running Truenas Scale, idk.

Awesome, thanks for confirming that it's working correctly. New to dedicated GPUs so I wasn't sure.

Side question - what settings do you use in Jellyfin for transcoding? Anything you recommend based on your experience with the A310, such as HEVC/AV1 encoding?

I found the HEVC performance to be so-so, even on the mighty Intel ARC, so I left it disabled after initial tests, I'm gonna try enabling it again now just to see. AV1 encoding has been enabled since I got it, as that felt like it performed on par with H.264. I'm mostly using it to watch on my phone while I'm away from home. Decent quality to bitrate.

Most of my transcode settings are the default settings, or adjusted based on recommendations from browsing the forum etc. I'm posting a screenshot so that you can compare and adjust as necessary.

    Thanks, very much appreciated!
