I had zero issues getting this to work in 10.10. You just have to make sure that Jellyfin has permissions to the folder you configure for local intros/pre-roll.
Can you share your full log so I can see what else is going on with your server? Maybe another plugin is interfering? Like transcode killer?
First of all, truly sorry for reviving such an old thread, but I didn't want to open a new one since it's the same issue, and it persists. I didn't have the chance at the time to keep troubleshooting this (passing of a close family member), but now I can. The behavior is exactly the same as exposed before, with all JF versions after 10.9 (including 10.11.2). With 10.8.13, it works as expected (same setup and same files).
I'm kind of stuck, when you say that a full log would be useful, you mean from the server start til the moment the issue happens? At least the logs I posted cover from the moment I start the movie (and the pre roll video correctly plays) to the moment the screen stays black waiting for me to press the play next button so the movie can start.
I really want to use this plugin and haven't been able to do so since last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: I don't use transcode killer, and both the pre roll video and the movie are playing without transcoding.
