You are right. It's definitely something with the network. I can't get 4K to play on other clients (ios) on that network either. They just freeze or don't load. It works fine when accessing it on my home network externally and 1080p films load fine. You wouldn't think it would be a problem though since they are on fiber internet. Hmm....

I guess my question would be how strong does your internet need to be to stream 4K remotely. I'm using Dynu and my own domain reverse proxy through caddy.
I complain about Jellyfin a lot and have no idea what I'm doing.
