I've never actually been able to use apps for a local connection--remote through my domain has been working great on everything up until Friday.
I improved things a little bit by forwarding the standard 8920 port on my router to the custom port on Jellyfin, and that at least lets the app connect via base URL after a couple of tries, but I still lose the ability to connect as soon as I close the app, and have to clear data and log in again manually.
At this point I feel like it has to be some conflict between the main Apache server (where the main HTTPs traffic is directed) and the Jellyfin server, and I'm still fairly sure it's a certificate issue, but it might also be related to the update to 10.11.3.
