for Mythbusters specifically (when its grouped in years instead of seasons) I found another fix:
- install TMDB database plugin + restart jellyfin
- enable it for your “shows” Library (DON’T need to remove IMDB or other existing setting),
(but this includes enabling it for everything under metadata downloaders, + image fetchers)
- as admin, in the mythbusters folder (in your home -> tv shows) go to metadata and remove all the providers ("imdb id," "themoviedv Programme id"...) and ONLY put TVDB id (I believe it is 73388, you can confirm here: https://www.thetvdb.com/series/mythbusters#general)
- If you had issues before (random images from imdb), on the show itself, click on refresh metadata, but select a “replace all metadata” to do a clean pass (and tick “replace existing images”.
