It took me time to solve, but the problem was not caused by a bug with my server or anything. I hosted this instance of jellyfin for several years and never updated the nginx configuration. It seems something broke with the last updates. Just updating my nginx config to the one suggested in the docs worked ( https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-i...oxy/nginx/ ) . This error message is very confusing and should be changed, it had nothing to do with updates.
