Just my two cents...but you could have your torrent client tag them to a 'movie' folder and a 'show' folder. Also, you can create playlists/watchlists that contain both movies and shows in Jellyfin. Another option is you can manually add media to Collections.
Just seems like a lot of work just to tag your downloads.
You can dump every show into one folder and every movie in it's own. Jellyfin is smart enough to decipher what is what as long as names don't conflict.
I speak from experience, when it was 2021 and I started my server/hobby/life by accident.
