6ch dolby digital acc audio is not playing in chrome,firefox etc

Does the web client support more than stereo? Regardless, EAC3 is definitely not supported by any browser, AFAIK.

And it is definitely being transcoded to stereo.

For the record, AAC can be more than two channels. But jellyfin does not transcode audio to anything other than stereo.
