root your tv, in the homebrew store you will find jellyfin and install it from there no need for devmode to be reactivated every x days either when you have rooted your tv you just have it there and it works.
if you run into the issue i had with the you cannot remove jail app conf you will need to copy an older version to it to overwrite it (dm me for the link i have the older working files that can slot over them to root it) however if you are not on the latest lg webos firmware it wont need to have the files i have to overwrite them.. there are websites out there like https://rootmy.tv/ however if that fails (like it did on my uk model lg tv) you will then need to go a bit more manual intervention i used these instructions https://github.com/RootMyTV/RootMyTV.git...1295058979
disclaimer: i am not telling you to root your tv, i am not responsible for you or any breaking of your tv or loss of your pet pigeon, use common sense at all times.
hope this helps
Thank you, honestly I didn't know that rooting was also possible for TV's. I don't watch TV much, I only use it for my kids. I want them only to see the movies I will upload for them on Jellyfin that's the whole thing behind it.
Thanks I will check it and read the docs carefully.
