Buffering/playback issues with music

Depends on the phone. I was able to get the official app to behave after disabling all the power and data optimizations (Pixel 6a). But some people didn't have luck doing the exact same things I did (I don't recall what phone they had). Can confirm that Finamp is pretty great for music, including offline play. I personally use Symfonium. It isn't free but I do Google surveys so I had some Google bucks to spend.
