I have been going round in circles trying to get Jellyfin Media Player to open.

My plan is simple to have a MeleQ3 connected to one TV via HDMI cable and display movies. It is controlled via wireless keyboard/mouse. I can get server running ok, but think using media player will look cleaner on TV.

I install server ok, connect to media files and works fine. When I install Jellyfin Media Player it wont open. I get error message "The appllication was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click Ok to close application.

I have uninstalled all Jellyfin applications many times. This includes simple windows Unistall APP, again with all the extra files (removed AppData, cleared Register, checked for other files etc). I have also fixed the IP to 192.168.1.100. I have reinstalled, reinstalled as Administrator several times. The result has been the same.

I have searched forum and not seen anything similar. Any help /fresh ideas appreciated
