I hope this is the appropriate forum and is okay. But I just wanted to say: thank you.
To all the talented people that make Jellyfin, and all those that help in myriad other ways to make it happen.
I have largely cut out the streamers from my life, and now focus on Jellyfin and my at home media server.
It's a fucking fantastic product, pardon my French. It's not something where I keep thinking "Oh I wish this were better, or that is crap..." I just don't. It's great.
And I've had some stress in my life. That and combined with getting older and patience dropping, Jellyfin is feeling like my little sanctuary. It's not constantly trying to drag me off course, encourage consumption for the sake of consumption, or constantly suggest stuff, or blare noisy videos and ads at me when all I want to do is STOP for a moment and watch something. To simply look and click and play.
