Add genre permanently into files

I have a bunch of YouTube shows that I watch on my Jellyfin server, and was wondering if it is possible to a bake genres into the files?

Under my movies and official shows, it is easy to sort after genres (action, comedy etc) because it grabs it from the internet, but is it possible to do it on my own shows, and keep the settings if I one day move it to another drive?

I spend hours sorting different shows to different genres, but when I move the series onto another external drive everything I have manually set got removed.

I am using mp3tag to sort the numbers for certain shows so I don't have to do that every time, but is there also a way to do it so genres gets sorted correctly even if I move my shows to another directory?

Just have Jellyfin create NFO files for each video on your server.
The NFOs will contain the metadata associated with the video they were created for.
