Swipe controls for mobile app player

This feature would be very useful to quickly adjust the volume and brightness since they can vary a lot in movies and as an autistic person getting flashbanged by the screen or stunned by the audio is very unpleasant, swipe controls would allow me to quickly adjust based on the scene.
